I didn't expect it to happen... but it is actually happening. In May 2019, Sönke Reich, the drummer of my band, called me and told me to get to Berlin.
I got on the train, after he secured me there were no strings attached and that the sessions were a short holiday for every one involved. Once I arrived I managed my emotional rollercoaster madness (I was having severe panic attacks and I was literally afraid to face the music) and instead of writing songs about my dark, therapeutic, melancholic and heartbroken emotions, I actually wrote cheerful tunes.
It was such a wonderful experience that last October, Sönke got us (Björn Werra and Robinson Sartorius) together and one song after the other was created and the basis for an album was made.
But before all of it is on your streaming device, headphones or blasting through your speakers, there is really a lot that needs to be done first. So... wait for it. It will be worth it.
In the meantime you can post ideas on how to call the album.
